Returns Policy

At Bear Thread Designs, you will find only the finest craft supplies and projects. Everything we offer is chosen to live up to this standard and your order is guaranteed against defects, damage and loss through shipping. Bear Thread Designs gives you a full 30 days, after you receive your order, to decide if it meets your expectations. If your order isn't 100% satisfactory, we will gladly exchange, replace it or refund your money.

Damaged or defective items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, we will promptly send you a replacement or issue you a full refund after you have returned the damaged or defective product. You will not be charged any additional shipping or handling fees for replacement shipments.

How to return an item

Please include the packing slip and any warranty cards that you received with your shipment, indicate the reason for the return, and the action you'd like us to take. We will promptly refund, replace or exchange any item. Attach the return label from the front of your packing slip. Send the package securely wrapped, insured and postage-paid to the address indicated on the label.

UPS, USPS and Federal Express are the preferred carriers for sending back returns because they provide shipping insurance and tracking services. Please remember that Bear Thread Designs is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.

Crediting your refund

Once we have received and processed your return, we will send you an email stating the amount we are crediting your credit card. Please allow 10 business days for us to process your return. It may take up to two credit card statements for your credit to appear.

Returning gifts

Bear Thread Designs extends the same 30-day satisfaction guarantee to gifts and will gladly issue a credit to the gift recipient at the same address to which the order was shipped. At this time, we cannot issue refunds or make exchanges.

Simply follow the return instructions and be sure to include either your packing slip or the email address and name of the person who gave you the gift. (This will be kept confidential; we won't let the gift giver know about your return.) Please include your own email address so that we'll be able to confirm your credit.
